The Herp Division Library originaed with the personal collections of Dr. Edward Taylor who was a professor at KU for the entirety of his career
The library contains thousands of works,
including many rare and extremely useful early classics in systematics of amphibians and reptiles
and a full set of journalscovering the fields off herpetology, evolution, systematics, morphology, conservation, and biogeography.
