The Computational Laboratory

The Comp Lab was established with grants from the KU College of Liberal Arts & Sciences Instructional Technology Fund

It's housed among the Herp Library journal stacks...

Which features resources like an extensive map collection

The heart and soul of the lab is out mini-cluster ("Phyllomedusa") of four G5 Mac Quads which are dedicated to parallelize partitioned Bayesian analyses

And we also have seven stand-alone G5 Quad workstations for a variety of other analyses plus computers dedicated solely to sequence allignment and editing.

This facility is dedicated to teaching and research applications; instructors interested in using the facility for class applications should contact Rafe Briown (rafe at ku.edu).
