Samples are processed
on a first come, first serve basis. Notify staff 24 hours in advance of dropping
off or canceling runs. You will be billed if failure to notify under 24
hours. A minimum of 12 Licor (gel slab) samples and 8 Beckman (CE) samples
are needed to run the respective instrument. Samples will be held until
the minimum number is reached for each system, with delays likely. To avoid
delays, you can pay for the remaining samples in order to process your samples
faster. See Pricing for electrophoresis rates.
Submitting samples: Please submit purified (Qiagen
column ideal), quantified template, and unlabeled primer (for CE samples).
For electrophoresis only, please drop off between 1:00-2:00 pm. Samples
needing the sequencing reaction and clean-up procedures should be dropped
off by 10:00 am. Amount of template to submit depends on chemistry and size
of insert or PCR product (see chart below).
Billing will go out the end of each month.
