DNA Fragment update
- March 27,  2003
Licor training sessions for e-seq and SAGA (fragment analysis) software scheduled for April 14 and April 15, respectfully.  Beckman AFLP roundtable luncheon scheduled for May 6th from noon to 1:30 pm, food will be provided.  This will be a great way to informally discuss your research needs.

K-BRIN update - March 10, 2003
The AFLP application training session will be scheduled shortly. Space is limited.  Interested researchers will be contacted.  There is space for both the e-seq and AFLP training sessions. Contact me as soon as possible to reserve your spot.

A Beckman fragment training session will be scheduled shortly by Dr. Mort.  I will be available to train interested labs following this initial session.

The BRSL, in cooperation with the new DNA lab, lands K-BRIN core grant to upgrade sequencing software, acquire fragment analysis software, and upgrade the Licor 4200 IR to the Global server edition. Clients will be able to download files and edit data at their convenience. More information coming soon!

Go to the front desk of the Natural History Museum, and ask to see me in the Division of Ichthyology (5th floor, immediately to the right from the elevator) and the receptionist will call me. I will then meet you at the door.
