Superhero Science

Visitors explored the science behind the ‘superpowers’ of superheroes and villains, including super-strength, invisibility, super-vision and hearing, through hands-on activities and demonstrations.
  • A hovercraft that was built for the event offered rides.
  • A scavenger hunt had clues leading through the museum to discover the ‘super’ abilities of animal
  • Scattered throughout the galleries were comic book posters that investigated the fact and fiction behind the powers of their favorite characters.
  • The Superhero Studio provided the opportunity to design a comic book character with help from local comic book artists and writers.
